Wei Wuxian can sense that there’s something in the cave, but his eyes are still getting used to the darkness and the cave looks completely empty to him. Still- he can feel that there’s something that’s not quite right. He feels a sliver of wind even though he’s in a cave. However, before he can do any further poking around, he feels a strong gust of wind slam into his back and the only things he sees before he finds himself unceremoniously knocked on his ass outside the cave are golden eyes and silver scales.
Huh. So it turns out there actually is a dragon.
