“Where next?” Amy tears off a chunk of mildly stale bread and dunks it into her stew.
Meg has retained her manners, bringing the bowl to her mouth and sipping daintily. “I assume we’ll continue on as we have.”
“I think she knows that,” muses Beth. “But, having a plan isn’t such a terrible idea. Shall I pull out the map?”
“No need,” says Jo. “I’ve got an idea.”
“I have an idea,” corrects Meg, though it’s more a joke by now, teasing in the way that she smiles.
Still, Jo rolls her eyes and flops back onto her cot. “Kokiri Forest.” Her sisters are quiet. Everyone knows the rumors of Kokiri Forest—Hylians wander in and never back out.
