Six years after the series ends, Mulder, Scully and their six-year-old twins are thriving in small-town life. When the body of a teenage girl is discovered in the woods under unusual circumstances, the former agents are pulled into assisting the local sheriff with investigating her death. The events of the case will challenge Mulder and Scully's relationship, as well as their growing friendships within the town.
Though this is technically a follow-up to my other work, "Our Struggle," it's easily readable as a stand-alone.
