"Clark." Lex drawled, breaking the silence. "To what do I owe the pleasure?"
The way Lex said it, so sarcastic and cold and insincere, made Clark freeze and, for the first time, actually start to rethink this ridiculous plan of his. The contrast of the way he said those few words now versus how he had said them a hundred times before, as if Clark were a treasure and the genius, rich, billionaire was in awe of being in his presence (the presence of a simple farm boy redneck high schooler) gnawed at Clark's heart.
"I know we've grown apart. I know you hate me for lying to you. I know you know I resent you for lying right back." Clark started. He paused, waiting for Lex to cut in with a hasty correction, ("I would never lie to you, Clark.") but when nothing came, and Lex was just staring at him with mild interest and his head propped up on his hand, Clark felt a bubble of guilt spawn in his gut for immediately assuming Lex would combat him. "But I'm here to tell you the truth. I'm here to make it right."

Clark tells Lex everything, starting with his secret alien biology and ending with his hopeless crush on him.

So of course he told him where he kept his lube. Superman disappeared for a second and then reappeared, the cape blowing magnificently in the wind. He seemed to have no reservations with having sex out in the open like this but was looking a bit ridiculous when his fingers tugged uselessly around his neck.
