Nick Nelson enjoyed his role as a rugby prodigy turned scouted quarterback for the Greenwood Appalachian University Mooses well enough.
He had landed the role of Rush Chair for the Xi Chi Nu fraternity and intended on another year of partying and winning games with his mates.
But then he meets an emo brunette who seems to be annoyed by his very existence.

While Nick gathers the supplies for a nappy change over at the table, he eggs Lucy on, smirking as he requests, “Hey Goose, why don’t you tell Dad how old you are?”
Her eyes light up, so excited to share her knowledge. Sticking her fist right near Charlie’s eyes, Lucy thinks for a moment and then unfurls two fingers with careful consideration. Once she determines that’s in fact what her papa confirmed for her yesterday, she proudly tells Charlie, “I two kid!”
Somewhere behind them, Nick snickers. He throws a hand over his mouth to hide his amusement.
“Sorry, love?” Charlie asks.
Questioning her finger calculation, Lucy pulls her hand back and counts aloud, “One … two …” She puts them back in his face, so sure this time. “Yes! Is two!”
“Yes, you are two,” Charlie says. “And that is two fingers.” He holds up two of his own, mirroring hers. “You’re so good at counting, sweetheart.”Series

The "Paris Crew" have been friends for about a year, they all met during a Truhem-Higgs event the year before Elle switched to Higgs. So Nick knew Charlie before they were sat together in form, but Nick hasn't realized he's bi yet. -

"I think you were daydreaming," Imogen giggles, pulling a slightly embarrassed face, "Sorry for being so annoying." She leans in, long blonde hair falling in front of her eyes messily. She lifts her hand and pushes the strands behind her ears and now her face is fully in view.
She's so close.
Sahar can barely form a coherent sentence when she properly focuses on Imogen's face. The hot summer sun beats down on the, through the window, and she's suddenly overcome with the urge to lean in and break the distance between the two of them. Her eyes flick down for a few seconds, briefly looking at Imogen's lips, before she closes her eyes and turns onto her back. She shakes her head, "You're not annoying. Never."
