They then shared a large popcorn, Abed drank a Diet Squirt and Troy nursed a brain freeze from his large blue flavored slushy.

“Uhhh…” said Troy to fill the awkward silence. “Sup?” His voice went up high, and he cringed.
“What’s going on?” said Abed, more to the point.
“Leonard posted this pic,” Annie blurted, sliding her phone across the table so they could see. It took Troy a second to realize what was in the photo, but the instant he did, his stomach dropped.

She wasn’t sure what it was with them, but something was weird; not bad weird, not good weird—just undefinable weird. They were never off to a good start, so maybe it was that. Maybe it was her. To be fair to the administrator or consultant or whatever it was she did, upon meeting Frankie, Britta’s first thought had been pretty negative.
Actually, that was a lie. Her first thought was, “Wow, she’s so pretty.” Her second thought was, “Wow, her voice is so nice.” Her third and ultimately most important thought was, “Wow, what a bitch.”
The other two really weren’t important.
This story is on hiatus, but I haven’t given up on it. I just don’t have the inspiration to work on it yet but later chapters are planned and I will update again when I can.
