Summary
Harry Potter and Hermione Granger were the only survivors of the light side of the war. Everyone they had known and loved, the Weasleys, Lovegoods, Longbottoms, Blacks, Patils, everyone had died. Hogwarts had fallen, taking all its students with it. As Harry and Hermione were being surrounded, they activated an ancient ritual only available to Lord Death’s, Lady Life’s, Lady Magic’s, and Lady Fate’s chosen and/or favored. They were sent back in time and caused a divergence in their timeline, creating an entirely new one where the war had not yet ravaged the world. The downside… well... they were sent 30 years into the past to the year 1973. And did I forget to mention that Lady Life decided to de-age them? Now, Harry and Hermione will have to return to Hogwarts 30 years in the past as 13-year-olds with many familiar faces.
(and yes, I did use Disney’s Healing Incantation song from Tangled as the fic’s name. sue me.)
