Summary
The duo approached the counter cautiously while looking around. Wilbur learned on the counter with curiosity. They never have people this rich come in; in all honesty, it's more often they see robbers than rich people. There have been four, including the two new rich people. The first two rich people were the worst Karens Wilbur had to deal with. Even worse, they always come during the morning shift, his shift!
Wilbur then put on his customer service voice as he spoke to the duo in front of him.
"Welcome to Puffy's Sweets and Treats! What can I get for you two today?"

Wilbur is trying to run away from his family, and Dream is trying to run away from his hunters. Both men have people searching for them for malicious reasons. Neither of them want to be involved. Both are trying to improve themselves. So what do they do? They work as baristas at a coffee shop together!
Or, Wilbur and Dream don't want to do what the people around them do, and join together.
OR, OR, I just wanted a Madd Duo-centric fic.
( Also, all of these are MERELY the characters! I might be changing some up a little bit. Thus, they might not all be accurate. But, they are my personal interpretation. )

_______________________________________I'm redoing a lot of this and will attempt to finish it for anybody interested. I know a few people in this are problematic, but just think of it as their minecraft characters. It'd be hard for me to assign someone else the roles of people like wilbur as, obviously, they acted as if they were brothers back when the dream smp was still in its prime.
I am working on this as it gives me a lot of nostalgia from 2022, and also it was just written really crappy, left unfinished and I didn't expand on a few things I was hoping to, so consider giving it a reread! -

It had only been half a year since Kristin’s death, and Philza still struggled with looking at his side at night and finding children there rather than a wife whom he loved, but he was coming to terms with her death and the fact that she wasn’t there anymore.
He shook it off and continued his work, not noticing the rising tensions in some of the guards that didn’t tell him of a possible threat for fear of him trying to take matters into his own hands. He didn’t notice the maids and cooks that checked every meal and room for traps and poisons everyday, every moment. He did notice that the boys were more closely watched, but he assumed that they’d been up to some mischief and also shook that off.
Maybe the red flag he should’ve noticed before he went to bed that night was the unfamiliar guard in his closet that would take him and his boys in the night and he wouldn’t even know until he was awoke in his own orchard surrounded by some other lord’s guards.

That snapped the both of them out of their thoughts.
"I don't think that's really the best idea for right now, kid" Techno responded more carefully than he usually does when this topic comes up. Fucking weird.
Tommy once again ignores Techno being a sketch bitch and continues his argument, "Don't be a bitch Techno. You both promised me you would take me there eventually. I've lived in this city for 6 years and I have never been there before which is fucking weird, so you have to take me."
Or, Tommy starts to notice Wilbur and Techno acting weird after coming back from that summer camp they go to and he has a suspicion that it might have something to do with the weird things he's been seeing for a few years.

He’s asked them to spread the word that he’s looking for a job as a blood bag and about one in every twenty said that they would mention it. Too bad he’s only talked to twenty vampires.
