Summary
A backstory for Queen Evermean from a version of the Princess and the Pea that is not at all well known.
Winnifred Darcy Fellows (aka W.D., later known as Queen Evermean) is the eldest daughter of the Fellows family, and is put up for the Princess Test, a multi-stage test to choose the perfect bride of Prince Dauntless Evermean of Ipslonia. She wins. She didn't want to win.
This story was the backstory I used to make my character(Queen Evermena) come to life so she wasn't just a two-dimensional narcissistic bitch, but a bitch with a backstory, one that doesn't justify her actions, but maybe gives her a little bit of sympathy.
