You didn’t quit being a superhero. Sure, you hung up the cape, stopped going on missions, let other people risk their lives and watched people take bullets that were meant for you. But the life never left you. You still had the scars, knotted and pink like a new wound or white like ghost’s writing on your skin. You still woke up in a cold sweat, remembering friends you’d seen ripped apart in front of you, the faces of the civilians you couldn’t save, buildings and kingdoms and worlds burned to ashes even as you did everything you could to put out the fires.

Kid Flash and Citizen Cold were looking for some intel at a military base when they found a young man laying on a surgical table who clearly unconscious and part of some sick experiment that made both heroes curious about what the military wanted with this guy.
The scientists would come at any moment and they couldn’t risk getting discovered so they took the mysterious guy with him to S.T.A.R Labs where they could get answers.With time they get to know Barry and discover that Len might be falling in love with Barry and he is a speedster just like Wally and even faster than him (which makes Wally little jealous), this is why the military had him, they were testing his powers.

There was movement to his left and before he could react he was skidding across the floor, watching Hanamaki fly the other way. The room was fuzzy again, worse this time. He’d hit his head, probably hard enough for a concussion to set in. There wasn’t time to think about it, not that he could anyway.
The click of heels on cement was like someone taking a meat pulverizer to his brain. “Whining already, boys? I expected more after so long apart.”

Dick Grayson, the first Robin, the Boy Wonder and Nightwing always had a special admiration for Kid Flash, Wally West.
When younger, he never understood it. That was, until he grew.
As he grew older, he began to realize he was in love. In love with his own best friend. How could he have been so blind to that?
Burying it down in fear that Wally wouldn't share his feelings, he only watched as Wally fell in love with Artemis Crock.
His heart only broke more when Wally vanished into the speed force, supposedly dying for their cause. He didn't get his chance.
Now, he works to get over a state of depression and try to forget his feelings and move on, succeeding more and more each passing day.
...But what happens when Wally returns, having had time to reflect and realize.. he loves Dick Grayson.
