The two of you were getting ready to head over to Tanaka’s house to study for midterms and watch a movie. Of course, you then had the brilliant idea of wearing black sweaters. The boys’ volleyball team didn’t know you were dating, and had been for four months. But neither of you was in a rush to tell anyone, nor did you want to deal with the teasing once word got out.

Nishinoya and Tanaka rope their friend from the music club into waiting at practice after school one day with the promise of ice cream.Both girls are struggling with their families and futures, with their parents and their own fears. But maybe in the middle of it all, a guy from the volleyball team will make things better.
Canon adjacent but divergent!!! Follows many events from the anime/manga, but some things change or go a bit differently to make the story make sense. This story will be contained to high school, but there WILL be a sequel work about the characters' adult lives post time-skip. There are a lot of friendships developed through the story too. High school is full of chaos, misunderstandings, shenanigans and anxiety, especially for the Karasuno boys, and you'll be there for all of it. (:
