But what if things changed? What if he spoke to Kiera more and she decided to be with him? A part of her yearned for this between them. For it to be real. For someone to want her, but she didn’t deserve it. Especially after all she’d done. She’d had a hand in turning her brother into a monster…in corrupting Jak.

That is until she meets Jak and realizes she can no longer sit on the sidelines as Haven City and her own sanity begin to unravel at the seems.
Meanwhile the young hopeful and courageous hero of Sandover Village dies after years of experimentation and torture. When Jak finally escapes, he's no longer the same young man who went in. Filled with hate and blood lust, he vows to kill Baron Praxis and anyone else who stands in his way. Only for his eyes and heart to slowly be opened by a snappy red-headed mercenary who calls herself Harper.

Summary
When Jak escaped, he didn't expect to meet another person with just the same problems as him. Seemingly perky , Valentine might be the only one in Haven City that truly can connect with what he has been through. But trusting someone, anyone, can be pretty hard after going through what they did. As Jak and Valentine get to know each other better, they'll soon find out if it's possible to have a life with Dark Eco or not.
Jak, Dax and all of the others of course belong to good old Naughty Dog, with the exception of my OC's. Those are, as the 'my' would suggest, my own creation.
