Summary
Being an auror wasn't what John MacTavish thought it would be. No one cared about magic anymore. He was just cleaning up the wizarding world's messes born from neglect. Where were all the dark wizards that used to threaten the world he loved so much? What happened to the excitement he experienced at Hogwarts? What happened to the boy he fell for before he was ripped away by circumstances beyond his control? Maybe he should just give up and join the muggle world like so many others.
Well, if Simon Riley hadn't suddenly shown up after a decade apart, maybe John wouldn't have answers to all those questions.
