Now, they bicker in public, angry messages left on boards for all to see, denied Kshahrewar funding from the Acting Grand Sage, and perhaps most painfully, Kaveh hides a secret in the shape of living in the Scribes home.

Це було справжнє щастя для Аль-Хайтама, який не хотів, щоб його друг докумекав той простий факт, що писар був вражений цим моментом в їхніх стосунках.
Для нього вдячність взагалі не мала ніколи значення. Мандрівнику він відповів, що навіть не варто казати це «дякую». Але Кавех… Це інше. Можливо, річ у тім, що цей архітектор дуже довго вагався та просто не міг сказати не єдиного слова вдячності, але зараз спромігся на це.
Аль-Хайтам чудово розумів, як це важко було для Кавеха, тому поважав його слова та приймав їх як щось важливе та дороге серцю. Але все ж повністю осягнути те, що відбувалось, він не міг, тому за цією зухвалістю та зарозумілістю намагався сховати відверту паніку та здивування. -

Alhaitham really shouldn't be surprised when Kaveh turns up to the door of their apartment after the second challenge of the Interdarshan Championship with three desert foxes in tow.
When Alhaitham opens the door, he smiles a little too widely, in a manner that usually means trouble. “Ahhahha, you remember those foxes the leyline disruption devices made all confused? It looks like they managed to follow me all the way here,” Kaveh says, scratching at the back of his neck, the foxes in question huddled against his legs. “I only noticed them when it was too late to turn back, and I was wondering if it was alright for me to keep them here, just for the night.”
Alhaitham crosses his arms in front of his chest. “You know the rules. No animals in the house.”
