Summary
The leader takes a step closer. And another, and another, until he’s face to face with Hyunjin.
He has sharp angles, a strong nose, and tired eyes. His lips, plush and pink from the cold, winter air, part with surprise as he takes in the sight of Hyunjin before him. Though he appears to be slightly older, a little slower, his movements are sure and confident. Wolf Witcher.
“Furritus,” he calls out, voice low with relief. “You’re home.”
Hyunjin bows his head slightly, the smile never leaving his lips. Felix can’t help but feel warm inside at the sight of him so happy, so content.
“I’m home.”
The leader smiles warmly before taking Hyunjin into his arms tightly. They hug, and only then, does the wolf catch Felix’s gaze.
"And you have a guest."
Or, Upon Felix's request, Hyunjin takes the prince to Kaer Morhen: the infamous Witcher's Keep. There, they open the door to a world of challenges that they never thought they'd be facing. Luckily, they don't have to brave it alone.

Felix liked to keep his head down.
At seventeen, he had already learned that it was safer to move quietly through the halls of school, to keep his books hugged close and his smile polite. He wasn’t invisible, but he could pretend. Pretending was easier than explaining the hollow ache of coming home to silence, or the way his chest tightened every time his parents looked through him instead of at him.

“Oh my! You are going to love this,” he says, grabbing Jisung by the hand and hauling him into the kitchen. There are many measuring cups, as well as their sugar container, gelatin, corn syrup, and other ingredients, on the counter. “So, I was thinking lollipops and gummy bears for Seungminnie.”
“Interesting,” Jisung whispers, having a feeling he knows where this is going.

Chan’s laugh cut through first, loud and chaotic, followed closely by Hyunjin’s higher, breathless giggle. Someone—probably Changbin—shouted something muffled in protest, and the room erupted in another wave of laughter.
Felix stood frozen in the doorway for a moment, hoodie half-off, bag hanging from his shoulder. He stared down the hall without meaning to, his chest tightening at the familiar sounds.
He wanted to go to them.
He wanted to walk out there, flop onto the couch, curl up against someone—anyone—and just be with them.
But his feet stayed rooted.
Instead, he turned away, stepping inside and closing the door behind him with soft fingers, as though making any noise might betray his hesitation.
