Summary
After spending the whole first year of university avoiding making any friends, Ishii Ran's mother forces her to attend a party during Fresher's Week. She makes some wonderful friends, including the stunningly beautiful Kokona and her lovely group of roommates; but she also meets Miu, who makes her blood run cold. She can't quite tell what it is about Miu that makes her feel this way and she especially doesn't understand why Kokona hates Miu so much. She just knows that there's a force stronger than herself pulling her closer to Miu.
