She apparently hadn’t bothered to wash off yesterday’s makeup, it smudges darkly around her eyes and mouth. Her bangs are pinned away from her face and when she looks at you her eyes squint in the morning light. You know you probably look just as bad, yet you can’t help but laugh at the bleary glare she fixes on you. And maybe it’s just the remnants from your slightly depressing thoughts last night, but it hits you that you really fucking care about her.

Bakugo would not describe himself as an affectionate person.
Oh, but he was. He definitely, definitely was. At least, when it came to fucking #1 boyfriend Kirishima Eijirou.
Whatever, okay. It wasn’t his fault. Kirishima was… perfect. The perfect hero, the perfect boyfriend, the perfect everything. Bakugo didn’t know if he believed in God, but he sure believed in something when Kirishima smiled at him.
So he had a problem. Everytime Kirishima did anything, including existing, a surge of affection and giddiness rushed through him like a cancer and made him want to do all sorts of things Bakugo found humiliating, like touching or… kissing, and other things.

"His fucking ex-boyfriend, that's what." Mingi yaps aloud, then slumps over the counter, sobbing pathetically. Then he fixes his composure, leaning over to Jongho's side with his arm awkwardly set on the bar counter, chin on top. "So, I have a friend."
"Uh-huh," Jongho calmly sips on his Manhattan, "a friend."
