Summary
Trailblazer launched towards Preacher, a fireball in his hand, but Preacher was quick to react. He shoved Blazer, sending him tumbling back to the floor, a usual beginning to their sparring. Trailblazer hit the ground with a grunt, his head hitting the back of the college entrance wall.
Preacher took confident steps towards Blazer as he caught his breath. He watched Preacher with stalking eyes, careful of every move he made. He huffed, standing up again, and Preacher gave him room to do so. A fair fight was one where both parties could throw hands. Trailblazer growled, his tail flicking angrily, as he launched for Preacher again. Preacher defended himself, keeping his feet steady on the ground.
The fight lasted for a little while, but neither one of them wanted to be the one that gave up, so they just kept fighting. Each attack was met by a defense from the other, as usual, and Preacher smiled at how predictable Blazer’s attacks really were. He was back down on the floor again, panting with his head down.

Settling at his desk, he pulled out the letters, letting the paper scrap into his hand. Laying them on the desk, he put them in order of the dates. All it took was a glance at the top of the open one to tell him where it went in the timeline. To anyone else the handwriting would have been impossible to understand, but Impulse read it with ease.
Setting that letter at the far edge of his desk, he sighed. The date on that one was December 30th, exactly two years ago today.
Impulse wasn’t ready to read that one.
If he was being honest with himself, he might never be.

Skizz wasn't there when Impulse Fell, but he felt it. He fell to his knees as part of Impulse’s soul was ripped away and thrust into a box far too small for so great a man. He felt every thread snap and rend asunder. He heard the wailing.
But it was long before Skizz went by that name. That was back when he lived under endless skies of the Aether and could watch as little fledging angels tested their wings by leaping from balcony to balcony (much to the chagrin of their mentors).

"Hey Top," Skizz murmured, rubbing his eyes, "What's for breakfast? I'm star-"
Tango turned round. When he saw Skizz in his eldritch form, he started in shock, screamed and lobbed the first thing he could find on the kitchen counter at him.
Which happened to be a saucepan.

His fingers are stiff, numb and burning at the same time. He’s starting to regret not putting on a shirt or trousers. He could at least put a coat on or something! Not wanting to get hypothermia, he heads back into Renchanting.
“Holy!” Dull pain erupts into the back of his head. Martyn struggles to prie his attacker off him as his head spins. He forces his eyes open, freezing his struggles as he sees the man on him.
“Skizz!”
Red eyes glare at him and Skizz tightens his grip on Martyn’s upper arms, causing him to wince at the piercing feeling of his skin breaking. Skizz’s purple claws cause warm blood to drip down his arm and onto the ground. His back is burned from the snow melting into his flesh and he tries his best to calm himself.

The red bloodlust gets to Skizz and Martyn calms him down.

The angel hybrid turns, slightly confused, that Grian is in his base (well, at least until he sees Scar and Cub with him).
“Hey guys!” Skizz says, “I’m doing good, but uh…why are you in my base?”
“We were wondering if we could grab a snack!” Scar says, a big smile on his face, his sunglasses covering his emerald eyes.
“Oh, I should have something to eat in the kitchen.” he says, walking towards the trio to get into the hall and then his kitchen.
Grian puts a hand on his chest, stopping him.
Skizz raises an eyebrow.
“Not that kind of snack.” Grian says.
Skizz's brain catches up when he sees the sharp toothed grin on Cub’s face, “Oh…Isn't it a little early in the morning for some good ol’ anthropophagy?”
