“When you left the compound, He vowed to find you,” the man spoke in stilted Japanese. “He consulted with the Wisdom. He loved you Doppo. You were so *special*. And look at you now.”
Another bone cracked loudly and Dazai recognized the sound of knuckles being dislocated. Another pained groan ripped out from Kunikida’s throat.
Flashes of memories crossed Dazai’s mind because of that sound. They had made many, many people sound like that in their lifetime and it made bile scratch at the back of their throat.

Summary
Kunikida wakes up with a bad gut feeling of anxiety and worry, and everything goes wrong, he gets himself injured and sick and practically forces dazai to take care of him, even if dazai began to do it himself, just because of a bad morning everything began to go wrong (why is everything going so wrong so early!?! At least he has dazai to help..)

“Mister Kunikida?”
Atsushi looks around.
“The closest hospital is probably hours away from here by foot. I also can’t,” he says, glancing down at his leg.

Summary
Kunikida grumbled something under his breath. His eyes were closed, head nestled on top of Dazai's shoulder, in the crook of his neck. They had finished wrapping the wound, but everything still hurt, and Dazai watched as his nose scrunched up from the pain.
Dazai's grin relaxed into something softer as he looked down at Kunikida. It wasn't often that Kunikida relaxed this much around him, letting himself be vulnerable. A little quieter, he said: "You know, there's still enough time to take a nap. A good night's sleep isn't so bad sometimes."
Late at night, in the aftermath of a case, Dazai and Kunikida take the train home.

It just so happens to work in this situation that Dazai is noisy and checked his schedule letting him know where to find Kunikida.
