His omniscience (and consequently Olympian tampering of our affairs), however, is limited to social media, the internet, and the trappings of modern technology by which Hephaestus, God of Innovation and Modernization, has enslaved our entire world, particularly our pantheon.
Therefore, effective from 1 January 20XX, all Chthonic beings and the souls of the dead shall relinquish their smart devices and social media accounts.

About a year before the comic kicks off, Hermes spends a day in pound town. This is literally just six solid chapters of Hermes fucking his way around the realms.
