Summary
He stood next to the couch, cupping his hands and letting the green mist of his seidr collect in his palms. Two green illusions formed into the shape of birds. They both jumped out of his hands and flew into the hallway that led to the bedrooms. He waited until he heard the scurrying of footsteps and felt someone barrel into him.
"Pappa!"
Loki laughed and wrapped his arms around the boy.
The arms held him tighter, "Where have you been? I saw the news last year but that couldn't have been you! You would never!"
Loki noticed the little figure hiding behind his legs. He knelt down to the same level as the little girl.
She shyly hid behind his legs and Loki's heart broke. Half her life he was gone, so did she even recognize him?
"It's Pappa." The boy said softly.
"Pappa?" She whispered, then her eyes widened and she threw herself into Loki's arms, "Pappa come back!"
