Summary
Kakashi Hatake has all but given his life as a Leaf Village Shinobi. His heart is no stranger to loss, sacrifice, or cruelty, and he’s unconvinced that it will ever change. He’s spent years in a dark and monotonous void, but as he takes charge of a new team of bright and reckless Genin, Kakashi starts to feel a shift. What if he were able to let his heart take the lead? And how would his life unfold if he let his guard down and let someone in? He finds out when a mysterious Kunoichi from the Land of Keys is captured trying to infiltrate the Leaf, and he’s assigned a mission to find out what she knows; but whether Kakashi starts to learn more about her, or himself, is debatable.
Take a deep dive into the heart of Konoha’s most enigmatic ninja as he explores the complexities of human relationships, emotional turmoil, and evolves from thinking he is incapable of love to wondering how he ever existed without it.
Inspired by the filler episode “Kakashi Love Song,” this fic will take place across part one Naruto, Shippuden, and beyond, developing and exploring Kakashi and Hanare’s story. Adult themes and language from the start. -

Summary
As the war continues to wage, the Uchiha have demonstrated the upper-hand as they cause mass causalities, laying waste to the Senju people. Sent by the opposing Senju clan, Haruno Sakura poses as courtesan working in the pleasure quarters in the Uchiha compound, aiming to infiltrate the Uchiha clan and uncover their secrets and strategies, whilst unraveling the clan from the inside, ultimately leading to its demise.

Summary
Having felt such a deep loss since the people he loved were taken from him one by one, Kakashi wasn't sure he would have a normal life like everyone else.
A father who end his own life, a friend who sacrificed himself for him, a girl he loved that he had killed with his own hands, and his sensei who died because of his inexperience, Kakashi felt that his life was a form of pure failure.
Since then, for him, life as an ANBU black operative was the best path he could take to spend the rest of his life before Sandaime freed him from all his duties as an ANBU and appointed him to be a Jonin supervisor.
A lot happened after Sandaime promoted him as Jonin supervisor, but what he can't forget the most is the day he met a grumpy girl who turns out to be someone who will fill in the missing part of his life, a girl who taught him to love again after he thought he would never get another chance, a girl who gave him love when he thought he didn't deserve anyone's love, a girl whose existence was home to all the peace he needed.
If at that time someone had said that the bully girl he met then would be the girl he will always need to this day, Kakashi would have laughed. -

Naruto is totally not glaring at Hanare, because she is a good-tempered person who does not glare at people for no reason. Granted, the way the other woman is practically throwing herself at Kakashi is reason enough.
Sakura is so done with her oblivious teammates, Sasuke wants no part in this, and Kakashi has some sort of selective-blindness affliction that only kicks in when Naruto’s being particularly obvious about her ‘secret’ crush on him.
Or: Hanare does what Konoha has failed to do for so long. If she has to play the bad guy for it... well, she always was a good actress.
