Summary
The Winter Soldier knows his role. He’s a highly trained, very skilled assassin who never misses. For eighty years, he’s been so successful that Hydra decides to replicate him and implements a new Winter Soldier program, one which grants him a new protégé. Desperate to please his handler, he completes each mission perfectly and gulps down his reward. Then, he sets out to break Cap, the newest Winter Soldier, but he has a stubborn streak a hundred miles wide. The Asset isn’t the best at his job for no reason, and he will succeed. Cap’s his new mission.

Steve Rogers is just an ordinary fella working at the community center, putting a smile on kiddo’s faces. He was just the friendly neighbor who shared tea and listened to their stories, participated in their gossip sessions, and, learned how to dance because it made his neighbors happy.
He was no hero.
From birth, he’s taught to keep his head down and don’t make moves, don’t question the status quo. The world was dangerous and Hydra controlled the government, not making it any easier, with their high prices and the hold they had on the world around them.
The Enforcers, the world called them. Hydra’s creation to kidnap those with powers and throw them into Detention Centers. From there, they were never seen again. Friends, neighbors, and loved ones would disappear on the street and no one raised a hand to stop it. Too terrified of what might happen if they do.
When Steve witnesses these agents kidnapping his five year old neighbor, Peter Parker, he can’t just stand by. He acts on pure impulse to save the poor boy and triggers a revolution.
