Getting dragged into becoming a Superhero was not on her list of things to do before graduating in this new town. But here she was, getting into fights with Super Villians and saving the world from it's unknowing doom with a couple of outcasts teens.

Had an idea for a story. Not sure I'll ever write the full thing.
I always feel sad that Justice League Gods and Monsters wasn't continued, and I would have loved to see an extended Justice League. So, I wanted to write some headcanons about who could be part of it, and ended up imagining the story from Donna Parker somehow, a character in one issue of Green Lantern. Basically, in the original comics she was a widow that turned down the Green Lantern role so she could be there for her three children.
In this story, she's still a widow, one who deeply misses her husband and struggles to raise her son, Charlie, who mysteriously has feathered wings. Donna, the regular human who struggles to raise her not-so-human son (and may be descended from an extraterrestrial) ends up befriending one of her neighbors, Valentina Guerra, who discovers the Parkers' secret. Havin experience in growing up in a family that raised a a superpowered being, she keeps Donna's secret until things get complicated.
Donna, who didn't know Valentina was Superman's sister, gets the shock of her life, and ends up becoming the public spokesperson for the Justice League, befriending them and helping as the Justice League grows in members.

He panted, back pressed against the rickety metal wall of a washroom stalls door. The lantern rolled her eyes, pulling their jacket off and moving Barry to the side to hang it up.
"We're not gonna get caught." He assured, cockiness and self confidence oozing from her low tone. "I'm sure those 'fastest man alive' claims are true." She teased.
Barry grumbled, pulling his own coat off and throwing it onto the hook with hers. Seems like they had time for jokes.
"They can be, if you don't get whiskey dick, sweetheart."
He teased right back. She shot him a look, a fire in their eyes now.
"Oh you fucking…get over here."
They growled, closing the distance between them in two steps.
