Tendou spun around his chair dramatically and slammed the table. He surveyed the faces of his teammates, all with varying levels of confusion, and sighed dramatically, before placing his elbows on the table and pulling himself closer.

Absolutely nothing could dampen the pure, unfiltered glee Tsutomu felt when he saw Ushijima Wakatoshi spike for the first time. The ball he hit echoed against the wood of the court with a loud smack, and Tsutomu was in awe. And maybe he did flinch a little, as he so frequently was teased for, but that didn’t take away from how his eyes widened in shock from the sheer amount of power that man held.
(And he definitely wasn’t equally as excited to spot the crazy redhead next to him start shaking his hands in the same way Tsutomu did when he was happy. He definitely was weirded out by it. Definitely.)

Her name was Semi Emiko, she was the third-year manager of the Shiratorizawa Boys Volleyball Team.
She was referred to by, “Emiko-Chan” or “Semi-Senpai”. She was a very good player despite not being on the girls' team. She was blunt and not afraid to speak her mind, but she made sure to compliment her friends' abilities, especially her underclassmen.
She fought tooth and nail to be placed in a dorm with her best friend Reon, they agreed after she told them about something.
She was devastatingly gorgeous, with piercing eyes of amber, shadowed by long eyelashes, long ash blonde hair framing her pale face, with darker tips at the edges of it. Her body was slim, and she moved with a grace that even the best ballerina would envy.
She was the Swan of Shiratorizawa.
