Summary
Itadori Yuuji and Fushiguro Megumi are rookies in the professional MMA fighting scene. They are also intense rivals with a whole lot of unaddressed, unresolved feelings fueling their animosity toward one another. Except, before they were enemies, they were…teammates and friends. Yeah. They were just friends. There definitely isn’t more to unpack there!
Yuuji was under the impression they’d sign to the same MMA organization. Megumi was under the impression that self-sacrifice is less scary than dealing with feelings. Now they’re signed to the two high-profile MMA organizations competing to rake in the most cash at the expense of…everything.
Or, what happens when forces bigger than these two gay, emo idiots takes a shared love of martial arts and transforms it into something twisted and dark-sided?
You can’t count on accurate depictions of professional MMA fighting but you CAN count on yearning, pining, and….well I won’t spoil anything just yet.
