Title says it all, really - a collection of 'missing adventure'-style one-shots loosely tied together by that theme.
Mostly Twelve/Clara, with some Twelve & Bill and Twelve & Brig, and some multi-Doctor stories. Mostly fluff, some angst because the Doc's a mopey old Time Lord, after all, but always a happy ending, and the usual crack-ish Who ridiculousness.
Everything is T-rated, settings range from early season 8 to post-s10 AUs.

Solitaire is alone. The Doctor has imprisoned the Valeyard in a pocket universe, but Solitaire has it and has asked the TARDIS to take her somewhere she can get help to free him.
Inside that universe, once a portable holiday destination for ancient Time Lords, the Valeyard navigates the corridors of the Grand Rivencrag Hotel, which looks suspiciously like an Earth hotel of the 1920s, and which seems to have a problem with nightmares, disappearing staff, and some very strange experiments in the basement.

Davros once said, “There was a prophecy, Doctor, on your own world. It spoke of a hybrid creature. Two great warrior races forced together to create a warrior greater than either. Is that what you ran from Doctor, your part in the coming of the hybrid? Half Dalek, half Time Lord." Such was proven wrong.
But the Matrix made other prophecies. For example, that when the stars and planets aligned in perfect harmony, a Time Lord would be born with the gift to control time itself. And not via the means Time Lords normally use. It was said that this child would lead the future generations of the universe to greatness... or despair. During the Time War, the child was born, and sent to Earth with a cousin, both cloaked with the Chameleon Arch to make sure the Daleks wouldn't get to them.
These two children grew up to become Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Alix Kubdel. And after her brief tenure as Timebreaker, Alix has begun to display her true heritage. These displays bring the Doctor, Ruby and Arthur to Paris. It seems that Alix is the fabled child of Gallifreyan legend. Should she fall into the wrong hands, the chaos wrought would be unimaginable. And unfortunately for the Doctor, there seem to be others after the girl...
