Summary
Galadriel wakes in the quiet aftermath of a storm, only to find herself trapped within the ruins of an ancient hall - with Halbrand. But as the morning light reveals unsettling truths, the man she once trusted confesses his darkest secret. He is Sauron. The enemy she has spent centuries hunting. The one she swore to destroy. Yet, as he pleads for her to stay, she cannot deny the love that has already taken root, nor the torment of knowing it is him she loves. Fury and sorrow coil together, tearing her apart. To leave is to sever something raw and real; to stay is unthinkable. And still, she hesitates.
