Summary
A group of five men braves a snowstorm as they ride through a dark forest, led by their commander, Bakugou. Cloaked in dark armor, Bakugou halts the group when a strange warmth melts the snow beneath their horses. The men discover a blue dragon, Tenya, guarded by its rider, Midoriya— with a strong bond to the beast. Tensions rise as the men, armed with dragon-hunting tools, provoke the dragon. A rash charge from one of Bakugou's man swiftly gets him killed for disobedience. Midoriya, horrified by the senseless killing, argues with Bakugou, but the encounter ends with the group retreating. Days later, Bakugou returns to the Ironvale kingdom, where his cold demeanor briefly softens upon seeing a wounded young girl. In an uncharacteristic act of kindness, he ensures she receives care at the castle. However, his cold reputation remains intact as he prepares for his next mission. In the castle, Bakugou is confronted by Midoriya, who still bears resentment over the forest events. Their heated interaction is interrupted by King Todoroki, who orders the two men to work together on a perilous mission to retrieve an ancient artifact.
