Ichimatsu has always excluded himself from society, trying to pass himself off as emotionless, while Karamatsu is the exact opposite, exaggerating his impression on people, trying to pass himself off as someone popular and embraced by others.
In reality, neither of them are what they want to be...and they know it: Accepted and understood are simply things they weren't. With those similarities and shared goals--and with different intentions--they learn things about each other they "never knew they didn't know". -

The old clone would be in attendance, as would the droids, the Ghost's usual crew, and the remains of Phoenix Squadron: all people Hera Syndulla mothered and cared for on a regular basis.
