If they got on that ship with him, everything would change, and the force that settled deep in her stomach promised that it would be in vain. “I’m sorry,” The words were foreign on her tongue, they never apologized, but she couldn’t think of anything else to say to the man trying to raise zombies and change the past.
Shin’s weight shifted, emotion balled tight in their throat in a way they did not know how to process. “It’s already over, Master… Baylan,” There was a look of defeat in his gaze, she could feel their bond in the force, the pain as it’s tethers were pulled taught, except they were holding the scissors to cut them apart. “Nothing can be done to change that,”
