Summary
Alison is a girl who loves horses, AIM, and Geocities! She loves life! Unfortunately, life asked if she wanted Death with that, and she died.
Well, that fucking blows.
But hey, she’s alive again! Dude, the first not so cool point-she’s in the anime, she last watched like two years ago (maybe?) Okay, she can deal.
Second uncool moment-she’s a boy now. This is so uncool. She can deal, though. It’s all good. But the thing that reeks the most?
Did she mention that she’s DUO.FUCKING. MAXWELL? She, well, he has a giant robot and will kill people with it. Okay, saving the universe? Seriously, why did this have to happen to him?
He’ll do what the plot says (and tell it to bite Deathscythe’s shiny metal-). Watch as he deals with the horror of going through a second puberty, deals with girls becoming hard to understand, and deals with four other crazy pilots.
Oh, and saving the universe from itself. Add to that the horrors of PTSD, war and death and he is affected deeply.
Oh, and somehow now he has a sibling who wasn’t there in the original script, yayyy. (He does not pilot a Mobile Suit.)
How will Duo deal with the shit that comes his way? SI!Duo.

Summary
"Tell me you’re not going to screw this up for me.” I met his gaze with a determined one of my own, willing myself to be strong. “Tell me you realize what’s at stake.”
“I do.” Heero took another step closer. His voice grew deeper, his laser-sharp eyes ensnaring mine, making my determination wobble. “The better question is: do you?”
AKA: Can Heero convince Duo that second chances are worth taking?

Summary
Duo has lost loved ones before, but never someone he was in love with. It shouldn't make a difference, but it does. When he lost people he loved before, he picked up their pieces and carried them with him. Losing Heero leaves him shattered. When the deep undercover request comes across Une's desk, she gives it to Duo, hoping maybe a mission, no matter how dark, how dangerous, will give him the will to pick up his own pieces and move forward. When Jesus Reyes, the shadowy lord of the Kings Cartel, becomes infatuated with Duo, it's too good an opportunity to pass up. After all--what does Duo have left to lose?
"Tell me how to love again when the ashes of my heart and smoke in my chest are evidence that love burns everything it touches."
