He remembers back when he was a kid he and another boy, one that had blond hair that shines like gold in the light, used to run up a small hill. On top of that hill was a tree that they used to sit under and watch the stars together. His memory now of the whole thing is well passed and no matter how hard he tries he can’t remember that boy’s name. He told another person about this to his mother who said he was also a hero and all she said was “That kid wasn’t important”.
He’s not sure why and of course he trusts his mom and all but in his mind that kid felt important like somebody he could trust wholeheartedly someone he…loved?
No that’s not right he stood and turned towards the doors on the building and walked inside. He’s met himself before surely, he would remember somebody he loved and anyway him. Loving someone? That was a stupid thought that he reprimanded himself for even thinking about.

It started small, a few shattered dishes, a few cups of juice spilt. All blamed on Wilbur. He could handle it, he was used to being blamed for things that were in no way his fault.

Summary
Tommy hasn't had the easiest life, not when he ends up estranged from his brother and being raised by his other brother after his father left. Somehow, he keeps losing the most important people in his life, again and again and again. It gets to the point where he starts to wonder if the common denominator might just be the reason why, yet somehow that doesn't make it any easier.
Through growing up, starting a country, watching it burn to the ground, and being exiled Tommy has found himself losing everyone important to him. When he ends up in a frozen tundra, faced with an estranged brother he assumes wants him dead, the last thing Tommy expects is kindness.
Lucky for him, Tommy hasn't been quite as abandoned as he thought he was.

He’d come too far, after all, to let Eret slip from his grasp before he got the answers for which he’d been so desperately searching. It didn’t matter all that much anyway, all he had to do was buy enough time for Lindsay and Marquess Manifold’s workers to track them down to the new location.
Except things seem to go off the rails almost immediately, and returning home wasn't as easy a task as simply activating the correct teleportation rune.

Sometimes, prince Tommy wished he could disappear. He couldn’t stand the way people looked at him, like they could only see a political pawn to gain control over Flower Fall, a symbol of avian dominance in their mixed-origin country, a nubile prize to marry into nobility, a boy.
But once Techno gave him an invisibility potion, Tommy could vanish at any time! No one could look at him wrong if they couldn’t see him, right? Suddenly, Tommy didn’t have a care in the world…aside from the implication his brother wanted him to disappear.
For adopted crown prince Techno, all he wanted was to be seen. As a useful propaganda prop, sure, but the flashier a target he made, the safer Tommy would be. Nothing more than a decoy prince to draw the assassins away from the real royal family. For as much as they loved each other, Techno knew his family wanted him to disappear. And if the many assassins didn’t manage to take him out, his parents would ensure it themselves.
But that was fine. Techno would sacrifice his life for Tommy, the phantom of his protection to forever remain always at his side, never in his sight.

(Tommy was the first, obviously) But as the year continues, he finds he isn't the only one keeping secrets. Shubble only ever returns after midnight, there are other house mascots running around the university—their identities could be right under his nose—and even his ghostly sidekick, Clementine, is holding her tongue. That won't stop Tommy from trying to win prank of the year, though. The reason: TOMMY IS A BIG MAN!
