Summary
( This is High Fantasy, DnD style Team Fortress 2. Some backstory for the Demoknight. )
Tavish DeGroot's parents were mercenaries, and their parents, and their parents' parents. Though blind, the DeGroots have carved their name into legend, through the flesh of their enemies. His father, though, fell in battle with the dark magician Merasmus, and Tavish's mother has made it clear that there is only one way to prove himself as a man: he must avenge the only DeGroot to ever be bested in one-on-one combat. Young Tavish goes to slay Merasmus - but will he emerge victorious? Will he even survive? What will be left of him?

Summary
After killing his brother and partnering up with a crazed man known only as Soldier, Engineer, with all of his confidence, would never have expected to be almost killed by a man who had walked into his bar looking like he was dying from heatstroke.
He was wrong.
Engineer grinned wickedly at Soldier, his eyes showed nothing but pure hate, and vitriol the likes of which had almost made Soldier shutter.
“It seems we have our own bounty to catch. How about we get ourselves some good ol’ fashioned revenge?”

Summary
People who work in large groups in small spaces fear one thing: the possibility of one person getting sick and quickly spreading their illness to others.
The mercenaries at RED have been, surprisingly, doing well on that front. They've managed to survive an entire year in each other's presences without killing themselves, purposefully or otherwise.
However, the moment the Scout starts hacking his lungs out one morning, everyone knew that their luck has expired.
Thankfully for the deranged mercs of 2Fort, the Demoman claims that it is impossible for him to get sick, so even if, unrealistically, everyone else were to fall ill, he'll be able to hold down the fort.
But as his team starts dropping like flies, Demoman finds himself faced with a harrowing task.
Nursing duty.

Summary
His chest constricts painfully, concaving into itself as if it's being bashed in by a hammer.
Every breath feels that way, at least.
There's a heaviness surrounding him, pinning him down onto the bed and filling his lungs.
It tastes tacky and damp. His air is humid and coiling. It makes him feel sick.
Demoman, if he can even call himself that anymore, opens his mouth; his tongue is sandpaper dry, his throat closed.
Nothing comes out, not even a wheeze.
The humming of lights fills the silence instead, and he imagines that they are a thousand tortured souls screaming with him.

Summary
Life as a mercenary can be described with two words: loud and short. Life as a Demoman even more so.
The funny thing about life, however, is that there will always be moments that catch you off guard, things that you can never expect.
As for Demoman, he was prepared to see some wild shit when he signed up to be a part of a group of raging psychopaths fighting a war where his only job was to kill and die for the foreseeable future.
He didn't prepare for what he'd see when the fighting stops, the screams fade, and the sinking realization that he'd be living with said group of raging psychopaths during their off hours.

Summary
The gang goes to a random mansion in the middle of nowhere for the fun of it. However, things take a darker turn when Heavy suddenly and inexplicably turns into a zombie. As the infection spreads through the team, Demoman and Soldier stick together and hope to make it out on the other side alive and well.
Based on some small games of zombie infection I play exclusively with my friends, in which we form alliances with zombies and actively sabotage other survivors for the fun of it.

Summary
In a small uni-town in New Mexico, DeGroot Keep serves liquor and succor to an eclectic yet loyal group of patrons, and has for many years. The Keep owes its success to its equally colorful owner, who always seems to know what you need—whether that be a stiff beer or a word of advice. But, between setting up his patrons or sifting through his friends’ problems, will Tavish remember to take care of himself?
