They were gone. His clan was gone. Their lives were taken by none other than Lord Death and his proxy. The DWMA acted as if a bed and some warm food would make him forgive their massacre.
Blackstar swore to take his revenge. To take out the last of Lord Death’s family the way the shinigami had so shamelessly done so with his.
That was the plan, at least.
So when did things go so wrong? When did he begin looking forward to time with his target? When did he start craving their laugh and symmetry-based rambles?
He messed up. But his heels were dug in much too deep to back out now. Right?Or
Blackstar was raised in the Star Clan until the DWMA finally caught them. He was spared, but resented Lord Death for the loss of his family. He promised to take revenge. But shit. Why tf does he kinda wanna kiss the guy he swore to kill?

Summary
There are two types of mer: wild and domestic. With extremely differing views on culture, freedom, and especially humans, the two groups rarely interact.
Crona is wild, forced by their mother into staying in their den. Maka is domestic, having been raised practically human. Soul is a former wild, working to heal those that were once like him. The stars align, and all three end up in the same place at the same time.

But inside of his head, a very different story waited to be told.
His mind was a rollercoaster hell bent on driving him insane, and he didn't have access to the breaks. Constant agony and stress, sporadic good days and terrible gut-wrenching drops, thoughts running and running and RUNNING...and all the little silly, ridiculous things that he had to do to accommodate the voracious distress in his head.
Every waking moment, his head was filled with noise he wished he could just wash away. Over and over and over and over and OVER--
and no matter how hard he tried, or scrubbed, he could just never get rid of it. -

Mentioned in the show and the manga, Death the Kid has OCD, in this story I will be projecting my own OCD whilst also keeping true to his theme. His OCD will get worse, leading to a bit of a sad introduction, will his father realise that this is not going away?
Will he get his son help?----
Death the Kid has struggled with his OCD for as long as he could remember, intrusive thoughts and compulsions keeping him up at night, the anxiety paralysing him.
He tried to deal with it, keeping it hidden and not alerting anyone to the seriousness of his disorder. To them it was just a quirk of his, not something to be taken seriously.
But what happens when he can no longer hide this part of him?
