Summary
The rain was like an old song, tapping lightly on the windows and roof. Orlando looked up, eyes wide and chest tight with an emotion he couldn’t quite name. The boy tilted his head to the side, and his smile became shy, self-conscious. “I always fancied myself a musketeer—or a knight,” he said.
