Summary
Damen, forced into the life of a gladiator, only wants one thing: Revenge. Akielos must fall, and with it, King Theomedes. It's time to seize power, even as a born slave. As Damen rises through the ranks in the arena and ignites a rebellion, he crosses paths with Laurent, the intelligent and beautiful prince of Vere, whose brother Auguste has forged an alliance with Akielos. Though they stand on opposing sides, it soon becomes clear that they are bound by something deeper, and Damen must confront the truth.
