Not long ago, Kylo Ren wanted Rey to turn to the dark side of the force and rule by his side as his visions showed him. But now that this is a possibility, he's discovering that as a dark side user, Rey doesn't want to be by his side. She was destined to be a Sith and to do so she needed to kill him.
It seems that history repeats itself. Skywalker is a fool in love, Palpatine is a manipulative greedy.
But maybe Ben Solo and Rey Nobody can still change everything. -

Summary
Hope. Hanging on to hope is the joy of the human experience. The ability to pull yourself out of failure and disappointment is rooted in hope for a new tomorrow. There is no hope for Ben Solo, turned Kylo Ren, now Emperor of the Final Order. A ruthless and heartless warrior king with strong powers rooted in the darkside of the Force and a bloodline hard to live up to. We start with his trip to Exegol, where he kills Palpatine with his strength in the force. (The events of TFA and TLJ took place, but Kylo hasn’t met Rey.) When Rey enters, a simple, kind, light filled girl from Jakku looking for belonging and seeking the truth about her linage. She joins Kylo Ren’s mother, Leia in her quest to resist the rule of her son. Rey quickly becomes a thorn in Kylo Ren’s side, as the Force brings them to one another as a Force Dyad, much to both their dismay. He will stop at nothing to squash the light that Rey brings, becoming obsessed with ridding her of it.

All he needs is to be on solid ground for a few precious hours, preferably away from his generals and anyone else whose face he has seen repeatedly for the last six months, and then he could resume the hunt for his uncle without going stark-raving mad. He decides he needs a port-call and that means that the stormtroopers are allowed one, too, although Kylo can hardly imagine they would manage to scrounge up any entertainment in the barren sands of Jakku.

The Extreme Actor decided to stay in character—full time. His method? Total immersion. No limits, no safewords.
His co-star? An award-shortlisted enigma from nowhere, with a taste for danger, a Method for Loving Too Hard, and a mouth that never stays shut. She swore she’d pay to see it. Play the villain if he wanted—play any part he wrote for her. Turns out, he wasn’t the one writing the script. She didn’t even notice that The Red Room Auteur had been watching (and directing) their after-hours rehearsals from the very beginning.
