Saguru's mother is remarrying, and the pressure is on for him to bring a date to the wedding if for no other reason than to get his family off of his back. Unlikely as it may seem, it's Kaito who he turns to for help.
Originally, Kaito thought this would be a great way to get some new insights on his enemy-slash-unlikely-ally, but it quickly turns out to be a more complicated situation than he originally foresaw.

Kid holds a heist in the middle of winter, and Shinichi is decidedly not happy. Saguru is just there, only partially by choice.
