Кавех разрывается надвое тоже. Одна его половина больше всего на свете хочет выйти, обнять за шею, уткнуться носом в плечо – сначала молча. Выговорить наболевшее, привести все причины того, почему Хайтам дурак, и одну причину того, почему Кавех всё-таки с ним (Кавех его ужасно любит).
Вторая половина говорит: если капнуть влагой на чертёж, придётся переделывать. Если посмотреть Хайтаму в глаза, мы умрём от боли. Если не успеть в срок, за проект не удастся выручить ни моры. И в конце концов, где твоё достоинство? Пусть катится к Сайно и делает с ним что хочет. -

When he realized that Alhaitham had been acting...strange ever since the night Kaveh got drunk and Alhaitham broke his hearing aids, Kaveh did what he was best at: he denied that there was a problem and ran away to the desert to clear his head and pretend it never happened.
When he came back, Alhaitham was drunk and, according to Tighnari, did it regularly because he was moping. But that couldn't be right. Alhaitham hated him.
