Their eyes stayed connected this time and he continued his idle counting of ribs. The numbers got lost in his head as he looked up into the shorter man's eyes. He noted some bright specks in his golden irises, surrounding his pupils and making them appear to glow as the light that got caught in them was reflected. His ginger eyelashes framed the golden rings, giving a soft look to the tired looking eyes.
