Summary
In fifteen days, on his twentieth birthday, Prince Ronan Aldrea will die at the hands of a god. The sleeves itch, and the skirts are impossible to walk in. Something beneath her (his) skin rages at the pompous gits seated high above on their thrones. All the dames simpering over a prospective engagement to blokes twice her (his) age. All the men raking their eyes over the Malfoy heiress and just how well she (he) will serve their bloodlines.
Celeste Delphine does not appreciate their arrogance. Would rather they minded their own business, in fact, as she (he) tears off the offensive dresses as if they were worthless. She (he) ignores the House Elves’ cries, and muffles the scream with a hand between her (his) teeth.
Disgusting. Filthy. She (he) stalks towards the vanity, and bares her (his) fangs.
And, as Draco looks into the mirror and sees another's face reflected, she (he) thinks: he'd rather be his father's son than anything quite as ordinary and weak as his mother's little girl.
