lee yechan and jung yujun weren't that close even if they shared the same friend group, they will chat with each other occasionally but never had they ever hang out alone, just the two of them, so of course it came as a surprise to yujun when yechan asked if they could meet up because he had something important to tell him.
“can you help me get together with seeun?” yechan asked, and the question startled yujun.

The world doesn't treat X's kindly, Minjae and Junmin know that well. Coordinates give you worth, something that Minjae and other X's want, even if it meant trusting some kind of otherworldly deity to get the chance to get Coordinates.
Minjae didn't ask to be a 'X', He just wanted to follow in his family's coordinates. Now He's experiencing weird blue flashes and dreams that make no sense but, hey, at least he has Junmin suffering along with him.
Otherwise, This is my attempt at making a story that works with lore that I adore and wanted to try my own spin on it.

Kim Minjae is a tired Pokemon Scientist and a retired Pokemon trainer, who left behind battling two years ago when he couldn’t get past the final member of the Elite 4, a boy his age of champion-rank who wielded fairy-type Pokemon, no matter how hard he tried. He uses his skills to instead devote his work to conservation efforts and sustainable environments for Pokemon across not only the Paldea region, but also other regions (which is indeed his passion) -- and he’s been abroad in the Alola region for the past one and a half years conducting fieldwork.
When he returns from Alola, he meets the middle-aged woman living with an Eevee who's moved in next door in Cabo Poco. It's much too bad that she happens to be the mother of the boy that stole his trainer's dignity away from him. It's also much too bad that said boy is now friends with most of his close friends.
He originally left Paldea to run away from this part of his past. Now that he's back, it's a shame that he can't get very far from the big sparkly eyes, fluffy hair, and talented battling prowess it has.
