Summary
Before the events of Nioh 2, an orphaned Hide travels to the mountainous land of Ashina. There he studies the blade under Isshin Ashina until the Interior Ministry shows up and puts the half-breed in a coma. Returning from a twenty-year voyage to Yharnam, it's up to a disgruntled widower to shepherd the dagger-bound shifting across Japan in search of the demon Otakemaru. Along the way, he finds himself amidst the civil war embattling the country, sleeping with all manner of yokai men and women, and battling his inner demons. Also, there's sex.
Lots of sex.
