Castiel hated pledging for Theta Alpha Psi. So much. Maybe, just maybe, he could be such a god-awful pledge, that they would kick him out before pledge week was over. In 10 days.
Dean did not want to let down the other Theta Alpha Psi boys. So, when he's forced to charm one of the new pledges into falling in love with him, he really had zero choice but to say yes. Maybe the boys would leave him alone if he could get this random kid to crush on him before pledge week was up. In 10 days.
"So, Dean, you think you can do it?”
“Yeah, man, it’s not that hard. It’s just like flirting with a chick, right?”
Dick grumbles, and sets off. Soon, they all begin to depart, Dean drags his shit up to his room, and lays down on the bed. He sighs deeply. He glances at the piece of paper in his hands. He just had to do this until Friday. Which was… nine days away, now.
Nine days to get this poor pledge to fall in love with him.
What the fuck was he getting himself into?

Sam looked back down at the sink, now having to grip his hands against the cool marble to keep himself steady. His breaths came out in huffs, goosebumps now trailing down his arms, and damn, did a distraction sound good right now?
Instead of continuing this conversation, which Sam knew was going to turn into a proper argument if he didn’t shut his mouth, he decided to jumpstart said distraction before he said or did something stupid.
Sam had to force himself to walk to bed and sit like normal before his mind became particularly ravenous. But once he got to that place, there’s only so much he could do.Or,

This was not what Jack thought when he opened a book that sent him to the past. It wasn't his fault that he was someone curious, he got that from his dad Castiel. Now, Jack was in front of his parents (Dean and Castiel) from the past plus his uncle Sam who looked at him as if he were a weirdo.

For the Spn Masquerade prompt, "Mechanic Dean discovers there's a homeless guy living in one of the junker vehicles in the back of the scrapyard. Everyone's pretty sure Cas(s) is 9 types of crazy with a walnut topping, but Dean finds his flights of fancy and wildly unlikely anecdotes kind of endearing. Cas(s) actually isn't crazy, but making up fantastical stories of how he came to be at this point in life is simply his way of avoiding sharing the miserably mundane truth."
This went slightly askew from there, more imagining the life someone could have led to wind up sleeping rough and saying the kinds of things Castiel does - it is unclear whether he believes his version of his situation, and there is a lot of ambiguity here.

Castiel’s breath trembles as he marches away from Mary Winchester. He’s managed to go years without drawing attention from Sam and Dean. “The way I feel about Dean cannot be expressed by the human tongue.” Cass says into the air as Sam is loading supplies into the Impala.
He stops dead in his tracks and glances over to Cass who maintains the eye contact.
“I wasn’t going to mention it.” he says with utter sincerity.
Sam want to strange him. How many hints can someone drop? And how oblivious do you have to be to have missed every single one of them?
“Can you go and not mention it to Dean?” he asks,
“Why would I do that?” he asks incredulously. “Then I would be mentioning it to Dean.”
“Then why do you keep ‘not mentioning these’ things to me?”
Cass cocks his head. “I don’t know.” He says. “I just… you’re just there Sam. Don’t turn this onto me! I wasn’t even going to mention it.”
Sam sighs as Cass marches out of the room, almost barrelling into Dean.
“What’s up with him?” Dean asks, walking in and offering him a piece of bacon.
He holds up a hand and waves the bacon away. “He just came to ‘not mention’ something.”
Dean blinks at him in confusion.
“What I’m saying Dean,” He says carefully. “is that you just need to let him down gently.”

When Sam enters the bunker he’s drenched in complete silence. He had expected to walk in in the middle of their blow out.
But silence.
Sam’s eyes dart around looking for anything out of place. It takes him a minute but he finds a crumpled piece of paper on the map table.
Jolting forward he unwraps the note with trembling fingers.

He casts the paper aside in frustration before he can make it to the taxes. He runs a hand through his hair and he lets the paper drop.
That’s when he sees it: blue ink on the reverse side of the bill.
