These written excerpts are original works by a fan for the fans, who also wish for more content from this beautiful but, sadly, fictional podcast.
Excerpts will be posted weekly, on a Friday, will vary in length and content and will mostly take place before episode #126, aka pre-Aled’s birthday/the drunk episode.

Outside, I can hear voices: Aled, and I think Frances. I don’t remember when she joined us, but I do suddenly remember being at her door, hesitantly knocking. I think that Aled must have sent me to invite her, but then I think about it and I don’t think he’d do that, because he doesn’t usually overlap me and her, and I’ve never really talked to her aside from that one time she’d brought him home from Johnny R’s. Which means that I invited her, which if I did, I didn’t really regret it. I think that Aled might have been having the worst birthday ever and I’m not very good at being a thoughtful, supportive boyfriend. She’s a good friend, at least. I think. We don’t really talk about her much. Or ever.

Last month, Aled let her cut his hair again. He was quieter this time, and Frances thought it was because it wasn't an impulsive decision after what February told him was probably a midlife crisis (And she followed it up with her telling him that he better not die at forty or she would literally kill him). He was shaking a little, the whole time, and five minutes in he made her stop to go bring his phone from the other room and put on a Spotify playlist Frances suspected he had been cultivating for weeks, because his playlists were never this organized. He didn't skip a single song the whole time.
But it made her think. Because before the university rush, before everything collided into a big mess, his last haircut had led to sliced-open palms and what was probably their first real disagreement and a night with Carol he didn’t want to spend there. His last haircut wasn’t his, it was Carol’s, and something about that made it all make sense.⯎⯎⯎
