Summary
Rex had always imagined he would die in a battle, guns blazing and dying for something he believed in. For the Republic. But somehow he wasn't ready, although that was his whole purpose. To die, because he was expendable. And he thought he almost did it, thought he could stand up and continue to fight.
But something pulled him back, pulled him into a dark abyss.
Rex fell.
