What if, after their discussion in the rain, Caitlyn had gone after Vi?
I haven't seen this before and so I have decided to write it.
I explore a world in which the events of episode 9 of Arcane haven't happened yet and Caitlyn went after Vi after she told her they were like oil and water, a world in which she finds her crying in an alley and takes her back home, where softness, fluff, and smut ensue.

Summary
Caitlyn is the Sheriff of Piltover and Vi is a new Enforcer recruit, but they only find out who the other is after they have had a one night stand that Caitlyn can't get out of her head.
What makes it even worse is that Caitlyn is supposed to ask Vi to be her partner, in order to show everyone that no matter where someone is from they can all work together.
Awkwardness, mutual pining, a bit of rivalry, jokes, taunts, and smut ensue, with crime fighting and political schemes that leave them very little time to deal with their feelings towards each others, making it all the more difficult to work together.
