Summary
Bruno has a vision that the villagers' dislike of him (and his family's newly protective responses to such) will eventually lead to them turning on the Madrigals, and the Madrigals becoming the worst versions of themselves to survive.
To prevent this terrible future, he decides to try to make the villagers like him by finding a way to help out around the Encanto that doesn't require his magic. He finds more than he bargained for in the form of a merchant named Ayla.

He losses most of his memories and builds a life in the village that takes him end until he is fifty when he and his family have to flee back to the Encanto side of the village. His family that was still in Encanto think he died or ran away twenty-four years ago and don't recognize him.

This popped into my head while I was doing dishes of all things and I started laughing and muttering. Thank God my coworkers have finally stopped staring when I start mumbling and giggling for no apparent reason. Probably not a good thing.
