It’s not his imagination—Junghwan's voice has hoarsened and lowered, hands sliding beneath the hem of Youngjae's tank, drawing a shiver out of him. Not because they’re overly cold or warm but just the direct contact of bare skin.
Junghwan hyung’s knuckled hands wander under the flimsy material of Youngjae's loose tank, nails tracing the lines of his ab muscles. Youngjae’s breath flutters from his throat.

Youngjae shook his head, his voice barely a breath when he answered, “I didn’t.”
For a moment, Dohoon froze, expression flickering with surprise. Then he burst out laughing, but it was not friendly at all. Pulling back slightly, his grin stretched wide, and up close, Youngjae saw it—white, sharp fangs.
Youngjae’s blood ran cold. Memories of old newspapers flashed through his mind: bite marks, creatures that weren’t human, deaths by beings that sucked blood.
